Students at the Academy have more performing opportunities than is usual in most conservatories. The School of Music hosts over 200 concerts each year, with students taking part in a wide range of solo, chamber music, orchestral and choral activities, as well the collaborations with the other Academy Schools of Dance, Drama, Film and Television, and Theatre and Entertainment Arts, and the Academy’s annual production of a fully staged opera.
The School has extensive connections with international artists. Some 90 artists visit the School each year to hold masterclasses, give individual tuition, or conduct concerts.
